Problem
Situated just a brief drive from Hull City Centre, the car park belonging to Springboard Nursery has faced ongoing challenges. Although the parking area is designated for the nursery’s use, it also accommodates spaces allocated to two other businesses.
Unfortunately, unauthorized individuals have been taking advantage of the situation, occupying these spaces for the entire day. This has resulted in significant inconvenience and frustration for the nursery’s staff and parents, who find it increasingly difficult to access parking due to the presence of these unauthorized vehicles.
Solution
To address the parking issues, the car park implemented a system involving regular patrols by BaySentry wardens and introduced a client portal specifically for the nursery staff. The consistent presence of patrol officers helped deter unauthorised parking, ensuring that authorized parkers could access spaces without hindrance. Additionally, the client portal streamlined control over car park usage by allowing the nursery to allocate staff vehicle registration numbers (VRNs) to a whitelist, thereby enhancing efficiency and organisation.
